@virus10101 @KidRockNZ Again, cinematics doesn't change the mechanics of the game. Lets wait for the full game to see if they are skippable or not).

You are mistaking the "action cam" for qte. There is no qte in this game.

I have played all the old X-COM games, and they are among my favorits. If I wanted to play a carbon copy of X-COM, I would load up the old games.

@virus10101 @KidRockNZ Cinematics doesn't change the mechanics of a game. This game doesn't have qte (so you are misinformed).

I suggest you learn what something about the thing you are trying to criticize.

@KidRockNZ They have simplified certain things, but also added new mechanics to the game, like cover and suppressive fire. Saying it's dumbed down, is either dishonest or misinformed.

People are willing to give a new take on the series a chance, just like Apocalypse was a new take back then.

@realiamnot The time has passed to the old Resident Evil games. Try the HD remake of Veronica X, it plays like crap. I can understand the frustration of Resident Evil turning too much toward action, but people who want a return to the old games are deluding themselves. Doing so would be a big mistake, and they would enjoy the games themselves.

@ediblefood: Sony supports independent developers? Really? Yes, they have announced they will spend 20mill over 5 years, beginning last year. This is the only involvement they have ever shown. MS has made their console programmer friendly, and have made great strides to make excellent developer tools, with free entry for programming and low cost to get it on the xbox. They have a dedicated independent developer platform on the xbox and they pick up hot project and they feature them on Xbox Live all the time. If the support for independent developers is a reason to side with a company, then MS would be your favorit by far.
