Never mind the users, the big question here is why hasent gamespot rated it yet? every other game gets a rating withen 1-4 days wow no? really?

Then those other sites didn't bother to even play the game, since it's impossible to experience all the new content in 1-4 days. The raid content wasn't even ready at that point. We'll probably see a review from GS within a couple weeks, which is good since a month is the least amount of time that should be put into an mmo before reviewing it.

I think 9 is low, I'd give it a 9.5 if it were up to me. Most fun I've had with a game in a long time.

Rift doesn't need to last more than a couple years. I've never been one to spend 5 years playing the same game, WoW has been out for 6 years now and it only took 2 years to bore me silly. Blizzard should have released a new MMO by now. If I can get a year's worth of enjoyment out of Rift, then it will be more then worth the $50 I paid for it. Then I'll move on to something new.

It won't be worth playing for the first couple weeks or so until the new zones have less activity. I just logged into my guild vent and all I hear it QQ about lag and log in troubles. Just wait a couple weeks.

The 360 pad is a little better then the DS3 when playing shooters, but a keyboard and mouse is leagues ahead of both of them in that regard. I'd say that for all-around gaming, the DS3 has the edge.
