I was excited for this game when it was first announced. But after getting the beta app a week before the release. I tried it in the garden, started my character caught the starter pokemon and grew bored instantly. Deleted the app and moved on.
I decided to try it again today, continued my save from the cloud and walked a few blocks to the shop. Caught a zubat and stopped at 2 pokestops. Couldn't find another Pokemon during the walk, but saw I has gotten a pokelure item and used that.
The hype for the game is crazy, but the gameplay is simplistic that it boggles the mind to why people are addicted to it. It removed the turn based combat system that the handheld versions are related to.
I'd rather see a console version of Pokemon which copies the formula of the handheld version.
My ps4 short circuit during a recent lightning storm. If the replacement power unit doesn't work when it arrives, then I gotta buy a new console. Rather the neo to be future proof. But depends on the wait for release and if costs are to high.
Hopefully that is the case. My ps4 got short circuit by the recent thunder storms. Got a new power unit on order if that doesn't work, I don't mind waiting a few months for a new upgraded console. Couldn't wait a year + though for an xbox +
I've experienced Fallout 4 in vr but with an xbox controller.
If you got a good enough upload and download speed on your wifi, you can test it yourself with "intugames VR" app. It mirrors the PC in vr to your phone. It mimics the cursor in fps games for its movement sensor.
I wouldn't trust Square Enix to make a decent remaster of it. They keep trying to invent a new combat system every time they make a new game. The newer systems aren't my thing, I would hate to see Chrono trigger get the same treatment. I'd rather it kept to turn based combat.
@kaminobenimizu: If it's anything like the PC counter part then this will be broken.
I only played a few pve missions on the PC a few years back (probably 5 or so). The game was a lot of fun running about with other players. Then the missions dried up and turned into hunt missions between the two factions.
Sounds fun, cops vs robbers!
As we went through a few really fun pvp missions. We got to one where me and 2 friends quit the game and didn't look back.
1 robber vs 6 police. All the same level. We had zero chance to dent this players health and he was one shotting us from any distant.
The game was heavily imbalanced to people who pay to win. Unless it's changed since, I wouldn't touch it.
I didn't play m.e one, but got a chance to try the 2nd out. It felt boring, a washed down version of Dying Light. Gave up shortly into the demo, just felt of a lower quality than other games out there.
I've gotten upto the boss on the boat. After having a minor struggle learning what does what in the first 20mins. I spent time leveling the first area, unlocking the ladder path way. From that moment on the game was rather easy. The first demon sub boss had me dying about 6times as I got greedy, but was able to take him down.
With a controlled approach I walked over everything up till the boss on the boat. I've tried him a few times and got him down to around 10% but his unpredictable moves list It caught me off guard.
The game is a lot of fun in alpha, some clipping issues with dodging out the way to be stuck in the same spot and not moving from harms way was my major issue.
