I woudn't expect it to burst into flames until at least after 100C. Don't worry though. The chance of it actually catching on fire is pretty low because in most cases it would just fail and/or your computer would crash if it overheated. A little R&R (reboot & rest) and it'll be good to go again. Besides, I've heard that card runs pretty hot.Sandro909
if my computer crashes or what ever when im playing stalker a few times and i have to basically hold my finger on the power button to shut off the comp, am i doing any damage to the computer?

thank you everyone for helping me out. its just that im getting a mac becuase its great for running the inal cut suite which is what i use for school and my profession. its just that im a pc gamer fan and ive built my own  rig 4 years ago that still kicks some a$$ today. its just that i never thought about blowing $3000 on a computer let alone a computer with quad core technology. I mean i figure for this rice its should play crysis on max settings with out the dx10. is this copmuter worth it, i mean is it really going to perform really well with games to come? is it true developers have to make games utilize the 4 cores?
