@jhcho2: I know you think Xbox has to make $75B back to be profitable, but they were all cash transactions. MS isn't expecting it back or they would have kept the cash. By the time the Activision deal closes MS will have profited close to another $30B as a company.
When a company has a lot of cash on hand, it's not a good thing for them. Cash earns minimal interest, so what companies do is buy something with that cash that will earn them more in interest every year than the cash would have earned in the bank. Investing their cash so that it works for them. It's why MS bought Minecraft, it's why they bought Bethesda, and now it's why they are buying Activision.
Not only are they making money on these deals, they're also investing in their own services while keeping Google, Amazon, and Apple from purchasing them.
@bunchanumbers Yet you probably carry a smartphone with you where ever you go. It's amazing you aren't worried about that tracking you, listening to you, and sending that info to the NSA.
@CrusaderForever Right, freedom of choice? Yet you're telling everyone to buy a certain product. Why not let people make their own choices, since you seem to be for that?
@Deadlysyns87 @RawhideSphinx You both seem to forget this is being published by MS, not Capcom. That means MS funded this game, it's not coming to the PS4.
