Excellent, now we just need a new Blood.

Not saying there's nothing wrong with the old one, it's awesome, but still...

[QUOTE="Kolossi"]

Well, I decided to go down the GTX 660 path. Hopefully it will serve me as well as the 320 did, if not better.

Along with a new PSU, 600 W. So I should be set for another two -  three years.

Thanks for all the opinions lads.

What power supply did you buy?

A Corsair CX600W V2.

Sorry for the double post, but Ive gone over a few GPUs and the GeForce GT 640 caught my eye. Any opinions on it? It appears to be within the minimum 300 W power supply, and seems like a good upgrade, but anyone who has better knowledge about this can probably say better.

Well, the 320 takes only 43 Watts, which leaves plenty of power for the CPU and other hardware i the machine.

As said, the power supply is 300 Watts, so that's the minimum. But, after checking what was suggested, that GTX 670, it seems that 300 W isnt nearly enough to get a new GPU, better than the 320. The 670 requires a minimum of 500 W.

I dont know if any modern GPU is under 100 Watts, but looking at the newer series, I'd say it's pretty certain they arent.

It appears I need to be looking for a power supply as well, not just a GPU. :?

You could get this.

egger7577

Sadly that exceeds my power supply.

Im looking for a card that could run most modern games around High-settings with FPS being smooth-ish, say 40 - 60. Price isnt really an object, but nothing too expensive. And nVidia cause I'd like to have access to PhysX. That and I still hear RAGE doesnt like ATI cards.

Im a bit of a novice when it comes to hardware so please bear with me.

And for gaming.

My current GPU, nVidia GeForce GT 320 has served me well for 2 - 3 years, but I do believe it's high time to get an upgrade and retire the old girl. Hence, I'd like to hear recommendations on what to get.

Also, I'd like to keep going down the nVidia line, since the 320 was so reliable.

Original Dooms and SimCity 4. That's about it.
