I game runs fine. I finished the expansion just last month. As long as you don't select High Shadows and full Far Shadows, it'll be fine. The only thing you should worry about are the bugs. I had a really bad one, where one of the companion was stuck at lvl. 22. Completed the game on a 9600GT.

they should just have a mineral booth or something where you can buy em off w/ creditsBatang_X990
That's what I would call dumbing down. I'm surprised there are people that actually enjoyed the Mako from ME1. I thought it was mind numbing.

[QUOTE="ChiliDragon"]If you're familiar with the AD&D rules system, both games become much easier... they have a steep and unforgiving learning curve at first, but if you stick with it and give them a fair chance, the have some of the best writing and story telling that you'll ever see. GOG.com has them both, fully Win7 compatible. :)

Yeah, the D&D system can be very overwhelming for newcomers. Don't mess up your build with the character creation, otherwise you'll be regretting it for the next 60+ hours. Also because BG2 and PS:T use the old D&D rules, you can roll pretty crazy characters.

In your opinion what do you think of Left 4 Dead 2? Because I just watch videos on Youtube and I was looking up some LAN parties people did and posted it on Youtube and I saw one of 4 friends playing Left 4 Dead 2 and it looked pretty good at what I saw. I don't know if it would be worth buying or not I just want to hear your opinions.

The game is fun... with friends. It becomes boring terribly fast if you play solo.

I ran it through System Requirements, and my rig is more than equipped, but does it run on Windows 7?Essian
Yes, it'll run on Win. 7. The game feels poorly optimized though, which is probably why I've yet to finish it.

Step 1: Play Dragon Age instead! biggest_loser
/facepalm You do know that DA is a homage to old school CRPG, right? You know, like Baldur's Gate (from BioWare). Make sure you update the game to the latest patch (1.20+), which gives you the "exploration" camera (I think that's the name). It's by far the best camera mode IMO.

I just got the robes, It only gives 1 armor. Is wearing it woth being able to do force powers instead of wearing something with more strength and i guess not being able to do many good force powers?

If you have high DEX, you don't need to worry about armor rating (since you'll be dodging/parrying them). If you plan on dual-wielding, make sure you invest in skills that reduce the penalties for having a weapon in the off-hand. You'll need high WIS to effectively use your force powers. If you chose a jedi guardian at the character creation screen, it'll mean you won't be using force powers much, because they won't be as effective due to the guardian's low WIS.

i just thought of the best death pentalty when I was reading this thread. When you die you don't turn into a ghost or anything. You have to crawl on your belly very slowly to the closest priest or friendly party member. I also think you should lose maybe a random item or perhaps random amount of coin cause the mobs will more then likely loot your corpse unless they are like bears or something...

Morphic
Good luck having fun with an MMORPG like that... "You have to crawl on your belly very slowly to the closest priest...". WTF? What if you were playing solo and your character died two zones from the closet town? What are you meant to do, waste the next hour crawling to a healer (which is just ludicrous in itself). Do you know what I call that? FAIL Game Design.

W,A,S,D. It's so simple. So simple....

And yet here we are...

You say "If I map a key...I want it to work..." and "get these darn keys to working???". Are you saying that if you map a key to, for example, crouch it won't crouch when you hit that key?

(I've been using W,A,S,D since Quake 2 and have never had an issue. Also for someone with kids, you sound like a raging 12 yr. old.)
