@mogan: I meant viewership-wise but as a huge TNG fan, I was also happy to see the storylines in season 1 and 2 more or less abandoned in favor of a TNG cast reunion.
I should have been more clear, the U.S version was released September 7th 1997 compared to the June 25th 1998 PC release. So about 10 months apart. You wrote:

Don't get the hostility, I made a straightforward comment with no personal attack.
Also, you might have checked my join date on Gamespot before assuming anything about me. Btw I played FF6 (when it was FF3) a few years prior to FF7's U.S release.
@andrewsqual: Not sure why you would feel sorry for me or anyone else. I was not hurt by waiting, though I did assume the games would be connected, that is saves carrying over. Now that I know that is not the case, I will play these game when I feel like. Just bought the last things I needed for a new PC so when I get around to it will play Remake, then at some point Rebirth.
@gaeandilth: And Morrowind was XBOX only plus Microsoft was more friendly regarding modding. Did not recall the OB release date thing. Now I really see how much better Beth's relationship with MS was compared to Sony from the get go.
Microsoft was where Beth first went to console, Sony was way less cool with mods and there were issues with Beth's version of Skyrim for Sony. I am kinda hoping that this will just help make future Beth games better to not have to deal with Sony at all.
