The majority, if not all, the ads are xbox related or gaming related in some way. I personally don't mind them at all. Sometimes they are good reminders of what is coming up as far as games, dlc, etc... PSN kind of has the same thing but to a smaller extent. As long as it's gaming related, I don't mind at all. When they start advertising things like hairspray and tampons, then I will worry about it.
Why should any gamer or consumer have to defend their purchases to anyone? Dont like it, don't buy it, simple. Enjoy your free psn and pc online. Have fun worrying about what other gamers spend their money on and I will have fun gaming.
So someone pays a dollar for a subscription service and can't make a simple phone call to cancel? Oh the horror. I hear online on the PC is free, you can stick to that.

I'm speaking mostly about SW. In the past it was mostly console gamers, but not as of late. Haven't you seen the various polls of "PC vs. Consoles"? It's usually a slaughter in favor of PC.
