This doesn't entirely shock me, considering the troubled history of this project - and yet despite how much hate I had for it back when it was an FPS bearing the name "XCOM" I kind of hoped the new direction would work out. I think maybe they needed more time, that might sound odd considering how LOOOONG its development was but I get the feeling that the shift from its original form to this one was a bit rushed and probably didn't happen until the success of XCOM:EU, which means it's barely had a year in development in this manner.

I still want to give it a chance at some point, though. 6.0 isn't an "awful" score, and as always a critics opinion will most likely be different to your own. But it sounds like I might want to wait for a Steam sale, I dunno if I feel like I want to spend full price right now.

Glad it turned out great! I've been waiting on pins and needles for this one considering the talent behind it, sadly can't afford it right now.

Can someone tell me what the song is that starts around 1:40 in this review? It also played in one of the Steam trailers. Also looking forward to this, but the PC vers. is delayed as is the Japanese release, so I gotsta wait. Rockstar JP and Capcom... please hurries D:
