You can definitely beat both of them within a week, and they are both very much buyable, but the replay value for each one is the multiplayer so if your not planing on getting live anytime soon id rent them.
If I were you I would plan on saving like $400 to $500 bucks, and it depends on what kinda games your into. Plus you have to buy the chargeable battery, get live(a must have), and another controller if you have friends ya know.
