Hmm, if they're trying to make Quinn the Deadpool of the DC Universe, I CAN see how that could actually be quite fun. They're both crazy, violent, slapstick, anti-authority, lusty, foul-mouthed, amoral, weird, dumb-in-a-fun-way and bad-in-an-endearing-way. He's a bad guy turned anti-hero, she's a bad gal turned anti-heroine. Both wielding dual-pistols and melee weapons. Heck, except for the fourth-wall-breaking, they're practically twins. Especially if they really go down the Rated-R route. And since she & the Birds are girls, it's not derivative at all; it's actually quite rare & refreshing to see a hardcore & brutal female team like that.

Yeah, I caught all of that, too, and then some (look at the parts about the injunction). I just decided not to say anything, *because lazy*, LOL. But you did the right thing, if not for their sake, then for ours.

Wait, wait, the image of Baphomet, the one from Medieval history lessons, is actually copyrighted today by Satanists?? Now that's ridiculous.

On a separate point, I'm just now watching the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (never had the time to do so during Halloween), and so far, it's actually pretty good; I'm really liking it.

Every single thing on your latest episode releases on the 20th? It's probably pretty normal for a "release-watcher" like you guys, but it's still kinda eerie for me.

Rest in Peace, Mr. Stan Lee. Besides God Himself, you were one of the very few beings in the World who was there with me my entire life, literally, up to now. To me, you're always gonna be the crazy-awesome grandpa I never got to meet, always "presenting" wonderful things to me. Today, I didn't just lose you, the whole Universe lost you. I know you're now having fun like a giddy little kid up there in that great big comic book shop in the sky, but we're still really gonna miss you. God willing, we'll see you on the next Issue. `Nuff said. #TheMightyStanLee

As a kid growing up in the 90's, Batman: The Animated Series is literally a Sacred Cow to me. NOBODY disrespects that Bruce Timm Universe (which technically extends all the way to Justice League Unlimited) in front of me without risking immediate & brutal retaliation from me, hah, kiddin'. But seriously, even today, as an adult, many of the guiding principles that I have (like helping the helpless,giving people a second chance,etc.) are direct results of the Life Lessons I learned from that show and others like it. So it's a grave understatement to say that I'm grateful for its existence.

As for the villains themselves, since I was too young then, I never really gave it much thought. But now that you mention it (both your article above and the documentary itself), I totally agree. My mom & others used to say that I empathized well with so-called "bad guys" (both fictional & real ones). No, not because I side with them--of course I don't. But because I'm actually willing AND able to understand them, and why they do what they do. And I think that's because the show taught me to always keep a Fair & Just mind, because there's always more to it, than a villain simply being "Evil". As a quick example, the tragic story of Andrea Beaumont from the Mask of the Phantasm film is one of the best bittersweet stories that I use to teach people, both young & old, not to obsess about taking revenge on others who've hurt them. Because it's a very steep & slippery slope, and the cost at the end, may well be your own Soul anyway.

PS: Interestingly, just like the other commenters here, my grown-up relatives, including my mom (who never really liked cartoons), used to watch it with me too. Coz they actually considered it a regular mature series, which just so happens to be animated. :)

I like it. At least based on the trailer, it's got that Left 4 Dead horror-survival-coop vibe going for it. And for me, that's a good thing. I mean, I've obviously outgrown L4D & its sequel by now, but if they've somehow refreshed or modernized those titles with this one, heck, I'm all for it.

Thanks for reminding me about the new She-Ra series (we've forgotten all about it). As I've mentioned before, I've been looking for more of her stuff (including books) since I "re-discovered" her universe several months ago (or was it last year,heh). But looking at the clips that you & other sources have shown so far, hmm, I don't know... I mean, even DC Super Hero Girls--which is also for kids--seem far better. But I guess we'll see. :/

@chastityv and @gregt155:

Nice video & article. My big sister introduced me to Archie, Josie & Sabrina's books & their bigger universe when I was a little kid, and I've loved them all since then. So this video is fun, very informative & useful for me & other people looking for more Sabrina. So thanks!

Also, just a little friendly advice from a regular GS Universe viewer, quit doing so-called "spoiler-talk" reviews. I know some people actually LIKE reading the last page of a book before starting the whole thing (ironically,my aforementioned big sis is actually one of those,sometimes,lawl), but seriously, reviews are meant to be spoiler-free. They exist to advise people on things like how good something is BEFORE they actually try it. So if we've already (presumably) seen/experienced/tried the subject in question, then--as my friend put it--what's the point? If you just want to talk about it AFTER the fact--like what Lucy James and the UK gang do with GoT and other properties, then call it something else, like "spoiler-talk discussions" or breakdowns or whatever. We'd actually be more interested in THAT. :)

Cheers!

Agreed on all 3 points, my friend. Yes, including the Tom Welling part; we loved him as Clark growing up. And unlike Hoechlin (whom we also liked from 7th Heaven), Welling would've been rightfully bigger than Amell, Gustin AND Benoist.

And also, Rosenbaum didn't just play the Flash "many" times. As far as my friends & I are concerned, he IS Wally West (most people forget he was never Barry Allen,heh). :)
