John Green, Neil Gaiman, Clive Barker, Mark Twain, Fitzgerald, Tolkien. Other generic, famous authors.

I intend on making a breton nightblade, starting out I want to go sword main-hand, dagger off, and swap to a bow, but I am very interested in destruction magic so I may go daggers to destruction staff. Other than that I'd probably roll a Nord Templar but I don't see myself making more than one character to be honest. I think I'll find my favorite race, of whatever looks the best in beta, and then make one character that can do it all. That's more my style in MMOs anyways.

I've been playing more and realizing that my frustration is mostly based on my lack of fighting game experience. It still is annoying to fight the Frost woman, or Green Arrow, Deathstroke, Batman, or anyone who focuses on ranged attacks, but in learning how to use Flash I've been able to stick close to people and combo them to death.

Overrall I can see the appeal of this game more now that I'm learning to combat certain play styles, but it is definitely more frustrating than any other online game I've played before. Mostly due to the fact that I can't dominate and often get completely outplayed.

So I beat the story mode of this game, and it was super fun. I got it because I had played the latest Mortal Kombat and thoroughly enjoyed it, and even though I much MUCH prefer Marvel I do like comics in general, but I'm kind of disappointed.

I know it's been over a month, so everyone who's playing online is super uber leet pro haxors, but it's kind of silly in my opinion.

I played like 20+ matches, all as The Flash because, you know , Flash is super awesome (in the comics, I have no idea how the characters in this game are tiered), and out of say, 25 matches, 15-20 were against someone using Batman. The others consisted of one Bane, one Shazam, a couple Deathstroke, a couple Green Arrow, and one Doomsday.

I don't see how this is going to be fun. I mean sure, learning what character perfectly combats each other character and mastering all the fine arts and blah blah blah, but I wish there was room to just enjoy the game, where I wouldn't be rectally punished and humiliated for wanting to use a character I enjoy.

And I know I'm new to the game, and I definitely suck a big one, but at the moment it feels pretty unsatisfying to watch 20 Batmen in a row use the same exact combo string over and over and over and over.

Oh, and everyone picks the two or three same arenas... dafuq?

Just giving you heads up TC, its never a good idea to take relationships advice from anyone.GazaAli
I agree, I'm not really looking for advice in the sense that I'll follow their guidelines, but I do like having perspective.

Maybe she's on her period and really emotional. When did she break up with her ex ?

chrisrooR

Wednesday was the last day of her cycle. It's a major part of the reason that I'm not too concerned. She officially broke up with him a few weeks before we started dating, but he told her he didn't love her anymore a bout a month before that. She was mentally single for about two months before we started hanging out.

"mentally single" isn't actually single. A few weeks after a breakup can be pretty rebound-ish. Out of curiosity, how long was she dating her ex for?

4 years. It probably is a rebound. And I probably should end it. But I know I won't, it's just not my nature to not give something a chance. I'll end up regretting it, probably.

Because I wanted some feedback. I have more people in my life, that are closer to the situation, and OT has been the only one to recommend moving on. I was looking for more first hand experience. It's pretty obvious that you specifically are quite jaded, but I value your input all the same.

I think that emotions are running high right now. I'm more or less playing a waiting game, hoping to see whether or not, once she gets comfortable back at school, away from all the memories of her hom and the stressors of her family, if she gets back to being the intelligent, logical girl I like. I'm hopeful that it will work like that, because it's obvious to me that these past few days have just been her reaching an emotional breaking point and going over the edge. I was more so curious with any other OTers experience with a similar situation. This has happened to me before, with a girl I had been with for two years at the time. She was super emotional for a week, because everything in her life went wrong, and she blamed me because I was the only thing she had control over. A week later later we were fine.
