Firstly, if you're going to get 3-5 DVDs, hold off until the next buy 3 get 1 free sale or a sale that will give you the most bang for your buck (The $10 Dollar sale, for instance).[QUOTE="Johnny181"]I was thinking about finally picking up some ROH DVD's, so if someone could give me a few to start with. You know, a list of what you think are the top 3-5 DVD's I could get, I'd appreciate it. The_Dude14
Are there any specific superstars you're interested in, type of matches you like more than others, are you more interested in the more current shows, or some of the older shows? I don't want to waste your money by giving you bad reccomendations, so I'd like to know a little bit of what you're looking to see in ROH.
Ok. That's a good idea.
As far as what I'm looking for, I'm not entirely sure. My only exposure to ROH has been Death Before Dishonor (I remember liking it, but I don't remember specifics) and all the matches that Sephy has posted on this board. The one match that really stood out for me was the Second City Saints/Briscoes match that Sephy posted, so I guess I'd like to see some more of ROH's good tag matches. Other than that, I'd have a pretty open mind about watching whatever else comes highly recommended. It was just intimidating trying to go through their site and just pick some DVD's to start with.
Yikes. That's no good at all. Is your dad alright?
Now it's going to be on Smackdown too? Well that's just great.

No kidding. Lately, I've been greatful that SD! has stayed clear of having 2 things: a McMahon on the show consistently, and the Diva search. One of those positives just came crashing down.
Cool. I don't think I've ever come across them before. Now that would be a promotion that I might actually have a chance at going to see someday.
Smackdown has shown a lot of potential lately, so I hope I'm not throwing money down the drain by buying tickets for a show that is a month and a half away...
Well here's hoping that your money doesn't go down the drain, but to me I think it is unless you're going to an ROH show.
Yeah well, since I'm in Phoenix, my chances to ever getting to any of those indy fed shows like ROH on the east coast are slim-to-none. This is about my only chance to see live wrestling.
