I can see a lot of people are upset about this, but it probably has something to do with accessibility, which is something I'm seeing more and more in games and is a good thing imho.

I was a backer on this game. I played through 1-5 and used to be a megafan. My gaming tastes have changed a bit but I thought this game was a worthy cause.

Xbox One. I don't care about specs or anything like that. But the 360 had been my favorite console and the One was a massive disappointment compared to that system.

Slay the Spire, No Mans Sky, Marvel Snap...

Sometimes I like a Ubisoft style game cause those require no thought or skill. Which sounds insulting but they are relaxing too

I don't think the big budget AAA games were the problem. Over the last few years we've seen Sony begin to lean into a live service approach. The purchase of Bungie has been a disaster. Naughty Dog was pushed out of its element. Sony thrived on single-player games but it really seems like they started to chase an identity that wasn't what made them successful in the first place.

I'm glad he's leaving and I'm curious to see what the future looks like.

Prey (2017) was amazing and I didn't expect to love it as much as I did.

The Last Of Us way back in 2013 was the first time I liked a horror game. I'm a bit of a mega fan now.

Hades introduced me to a whole new genre of games. And probably my favorite genre now.

Ori. I just loved this adventure.

Tchia on PS5. It's leaving the service soon so I figured it was time to give it a go.

Also trying daily to beat TLOU2 No Return Daily challenge on Grounded. This might take a while though.

I was actually hyped for FFXVI but ended up deciding to wait and now I'm not sure I care. I have plenty to keep me busy. I think for me personally, I just didn't like 15 at all. No matter how many times I tried it, I just wasn't having fun. By and large, I prefer action RPGs now, but I think I would have preferred FF be turn-based.

I struggle to narrow it to ONE game since so many games have affected me in different ways. I guess if it's just the one, then it's going to have to be The Last of Us Part 1. It's still the best narrative I've ever experienced in a game.

But if I'm allowed a few choices, then in the last few years I've put a ton of time into Hades and Dead Cells. I have 2500 hours into Slay the Spire across multiple platforms.

But I have a lot of fond memories of games from my youth. Final Fantasy on the NES which hands down is why I'm a gamer today. Suikoden 2. MGS2 which I played a dozen times. The Witcher 3 was an amazing experience.
