There appears to be almost no difference to directx 9 and 10 looking at the screenshots. I need to get this game to see the real difference full blown on my monitor, its kind of hard to see the differences on the small screenshots.

Bought a new computer last month with geforce 8800 gtx card. Played Lost Planet running directx 10 was great. It was the best graphics Ive seen in any game yet. Im looking forward to see more games with better graphics on directx 10. Hopefully we have more directx 10 games come out in 2008.

my wish list would have to include the software for dual core cpus and dual core gpus. all this advanced hardware means nothing if there is no software to optimize the hardware. if we had more game engines that is out to fully optimize dual core cpus, games AIs and graphics would be even better then now.

Just thinking here on why e3 died out. what about all these gaming websites like gamespot.com? maybe at the end this very website end up killing e3. here is why. gamespot.com hosts demos for many of these games shown on e3. they post all the advertisements, post previews, reviews, news, developer interviews etc. gamespot.com is helping the game makers and publisher show off their game to millions of people over the world. so its more logical and cost effiective to use gamespot.com tool to help show their games off. ten years ago before the internet was even more wildly popular then now, e3 would be the best thing for publishers to show their game. with 60,000 people coming to the event all the time to view the next games that will come out the next year. now with the internet around instead of having 60,000 people, you could have millions of people world wide sitting at home viewing at the same games that are shown at e3. so it doesnt make sense if publishers could take full advantage what the internet have become. times is changing folks and the internet is making it happen.

Ill definitely be getting this game for PC. Thats all I have and play on. No xbox 360 for me. Gaming with a mouse and keyboard is much more simpler and its a standard input device for all games. my specs are P4 3.0 ghz, 1 gb ram. 250 gb hard drive, 256 mb nvidia 6800 GTO including a 17 inch lcd monitor all for $2000 a little less then two years ago. without the monitor the whole thing would have cost me $1700. after two years, my computer could still run newer games just fine at high to medium specs.
