This article is factually incorrect. The Playstation 4 has considerably faster memory, a more powerful GPU (though only by a small margin), and more computing TFLOPS, which is said to be the single most important factor in assessing the overall computing power.
Not to mention that the Xbox One dedicates and reserves %10 of its GPU power towards the operation of the Kinect (whether it's being used or not) and you have a considerably more powerful dedicated gaming platform in the PS4. These are all confirmed facts, not "theories" or "opinions".
Before the trolls come out of the woodwork --- know that I own both consoles and enjoy them both for slightly different reasons. But this is no reason for Gamespot to play politician and say that both machines are very close in power for fear of upsetting the MIcrosoft fanbase.
Both will be great systems with great games, but there is no need to lie. Shame on you, Gamespot. Report the facts.
@willjohnboy I have no doubt the X1 and the PS4 will be amazing systems.. but that doesn't change the fact that the holiday line-up for Wii-U is vastly, unarguably superior. :)
@mr_bubbles261 @Jbul Super Mario Galaxy was Eurogamer's game of the generation. I may agree. If you haven't checked out Eurogamer, do so RIGHT now, easily the best gaming site out there right now (and no, I don't work for them.. lol)
@mr_bubbles261 @Jbul Wind Waker HD is already out, but the real killer is Super Mario 3D World. In previews, it's already said to be the best game Nintendo has made since Super Mario Galaxy (2007)

After all this Wii U shit-talking and naysaying, the underdog, under-powered shitty system suddenly seems like the system of choice this holiday -- Pikmin 3, Wind Waker HD, and the already amazing Super Mario 3D World (which has embargoed reviewers crapping their pants with eye watering, delirious, doe-eyed praise) scoring 9 PLUS across the board.. now don't get me wrong - I don't own a Wii U and don't plan to. But right now, and for the forseeable future (considering previews for Ryse are universally mediocre and Dead Rising 3 is a 720p/20FPS rushed cash-in), the PS4 and Xbone can't even compare. Yeah. Yay, next-gen! :rolls eyes:
