This is the problem though, I don't want to splash out more money on another controller just to check this. I'd be so disappointed if the same thing happened and I'd spent more money on a pad I'll never use again! It has me stumped as it works fine in menus but not when actually controlling the character. Racking my brains to think what it might be but coming up with nothing! Really want to play this game! :(
Picked up LA Noire a few days ago and have been enjoying a great game. Something strange happened today however, which really has me stumped. I'm on te 2nd disc of the game and when I loaded things up, I found that my left thumbstick was kinda in reverse...or something! It makes it really awkward to control and when I enter any vehicle, the camera keeps wishing to angle so it's face on to the front of the car. I've fiddled around with the settings and "Automation" thing but it just keeps happening.
Specifically, it's mega hard to control the character when walking - as things seem to be topsy turvy in terms of control. I've tried various other games to see if it was maybe my controller, but it works fine no matter which other game I pop in the console. Also, the left thumbstick works fine when in menus on LA Noire. i.e up moves up and down moves down.

I'm looking for some new games myself but I could recommend the Syphon Filter games for the PSP. Also, Resistance: Retribution is an awesome shooter.
I'm just wondering if anyone knows a good (and heopfully cheap) place to get hold of some PSP memory cards? I'm hoping to download some things from the PS Store so the card that came bundled with my PSP in 2006 won't really cut it! Any suggestions for size and where to get?
Yeah, I figured it may just be my copy of the game initially. However, I've since found out that even 4 of my friends have been having the same problem.
Thank god somebody is here to vouch I'm not talking utter banana's! Backup! How on earth did they manage to mess up so royally such a big part of their games? It's true, I never had this problem in FIFA 08 and I went around 10 seasons.
I'm gonna have to be a multi-thread whinger here and say it's because the Manager Mode is bugged to buggery! Anyway, for me personally, it'd have to be GTA. Even though I wasn't too fond of GTA IV, the previous games in the series (especially 3, Vice City and San Andreas) have all entertained me immensely.
No probs for a late answer! Your reply wasn't late at all, I just didn't appreciate how quick this forum moves. This thread was only up for an hour and it was on the 4th page! Haha! I've installed FIFA 10 onto my HDD and the problem still occurred. I've done a wee bit of searching on Google and it seems there are countless others who are having this very same problem. I'd hate to think EA would be ignoring such a huge problem. Something should really be done about it. The game's hardly cheap!
