[QUOTE="majadamus"]I'm almost done with the first Mass Effect, but I'm still not sure if I want this game or not. Mass Effect's combat is pretty dull. Eddie-Vedder
There was a lot of dullness in the first ME imo, boring planets to explore, boring sidequests, boring loot. Story was cool, and I loved the sci setting tho, not to sure about ME2 yet.

From reading alot of the interviews and reading reactions from people who have played it planet exploration and sidequests have been totally revamped and vastly improved also don't know what specifically you found boring about the loot but Armor has become completley customizable i.e. changing colors, patterns, add-ons etc. I beleive this is also attributed to firearms to some extent. Also if you were bored with weapons the've created entire new classes and some more exotic weapons like differing pistol classes, SMG's, Heavy Weapons etc...

Hooray for a ME2 preview that manages to tell us something interesting without spoiling half the story!

Good stuff. I'm glad they're giving the Normandy a make-over (checking in with your squaddies and requisition officer was a chore in ME1), and all the extra customization should be great. I actually feel bad for every other developer releasing a game in 2010.

Yea everything about the Normandy feels so much more dynamic and just really interesting. Every aspect of this game seems to be improved.

I don't really think there is a greatest. Though comedies, love stories, and teen stories obviously don't qualify.LJS9502_basic

Why don't those qualify. Some of the greatest films ever made cover all three of those stipulations.
