Amazing how they were so 'by gamers, for gamers' back when the first Xbox was being released, and now they have done a complete 180. Way to piss off the xbox customers who got the xbox brand where it is today.
@Bellum_Sacrum Exactly. Huge missed opportunity. You think a company who released the Wii to target the non gamers, and made a killing off it the first two years, would do the same with the mobile market, like they kinda did with the first DS.
I'd rather they take some ques from the old formula. I would like to play a Zelda game, where I turn it on, create my save file, get put in the middle of a valley with a cave in front of me, go into the cave, old man gives me a sword out of nowhere, then you work your way out of the valley. As you are doing that, the game is giving you tutorials on how to play, while explaining the back story.
Basically, I want a new Zelda game where I turn it on, start a new game, and start killing things within 30 seconds.
Funny how a few years ago (don't know if it is still true) Apple made more money on portable gaming than Nintendo and Sony combined..... and Apple isn't even trying to be a gaming company.
