I'm a huge Wolfenstein fan that was disappointed with the last game. This trailer was awesome and I'm looking forward to seeing gameplay and watching this series potentially expand into something bigger.

A sequel would just sort of fit the 80s joke, so yes, let's have more (that and it was awesome)

@Double_Wide @IndianaPwns39 I had a different response.

As someone with depression living in the USA, I can tell you that our society is very close minded to the depressed and often considered it as something to be shunned or ignored. This is why so many people don't seek professional help, because sometimes it dampens their social status.

Seeing a video openly talking about depression and what helped them personally is a good thing because it opens the doors and shows people that it's ok to be depressed and it's ok to seek help. They should certainly seek help, but beginning to openly discuss it is a great starting point and to me, that's what this video can help do.

@Double_Wide Yeah. Again, I agree you should seek help. Why can't you grasp this?

Danny, nor me, nor anyone here is saying this is the absolute cure for depression and definite coping mechanism for anyone dealing with the illness. It can be a possible coping mechanism, however. It can also have a negative impact. Varies person to person, and for the love of God I agree clinical depression should be professionally helped.

@Double_Wide @IndianaPwns39 Again, there's a difference between cure and cope. If I stopped eating sweets, it would help the diabetes. It wouldn't fix it, but it would sure help. This is a similar response to depressed people who feel better when playing a game.

And, again, I agree with you that people should seek medical attention for depression and not rely on quick fixes. You keep ignoring this and yelling as if I said "No no, just play video games".

Video games can and have and will continue to help people. It won't cure it. But it'll help.

@Double_Wide @IndianaPwns39 Actually, when you watch TV, read a book, or play a game, you don't simply absorb it. Your brain responds to it with a release of various chemicals that can alter the state of depression. It isn't just entertaining the problem away, sometimes, it literally helps balance the mind. Does it work for everyone? Hell no. This is why exercise and socializing is such a common remedy for depression, but to say entertainment doesn't help certain people is the definition of ignorance.

@Double_Wide @IndianaPwns39 Yes, I give him the benefit of the doubt because you keep speaking in these absolute terms. Nowhere does he say "This works for everyone, don't seek attention just play games"!

Clinical depression should be treated. I agree. It's in between treatment that you cope. Without coping, without a release of some form, the depression can worsen. We all have little escapes. Gaming isn't the cure, just a temporary escape while dealing with the bigger. I can't think of a single person I know with clinical depression that doesn't have a coping mechanism while they go to therapy and take medications, and I know a lot.

@Double_Wide @IndianaPwns39 I didn't. You keep attacking Danny for saying things he didn't say, then make assumptions on those things he didn't say.

My original argument was that coping with depression changes person to person, and any professional would tell you the same. I'm not attacking nor defending Danny's video or what he said, yet you keep attacking me as if I am, jumping to point to point even if it wasn't discussed or brought up be it in our conversation, or the video itself.

@Double_Wide @IndianaPwns39 @Truth_Hurts_U Danny discusses that it worked for him, and that's very plausible.

I don't think he's saying "Hey depressed people, screw doctors and just play games!" I think he's just interested that some people have helped themselves in a similar fashion and it was meant to show strength in a community.
