I'm no fan of Killzone, but it doesn't deserve to be between those 2 games.

Nice, I love No One Lives Forever 2. I rarely give games a 9.5 thats one of the few FPS I rated that highly. Rainbow Six Rogue Spear is up there as well. :)

Maybe not a reboot, I'm normally against those. But I would like to see maybe some more sequels/prequels to Syphon Filter, Clock Tower, and Final Fight.

Yes, but Nintendo of America have made some idiotic choices imo. Shame on them for not branching out and bringing more games state side like Fatal Frame IV. Theres so much potential, creativity, and hoarse power at the tip of Nintendos fingers their just not operating at 110%. Their also responsible for killing off the Mother franchise nice job there. As for the Wii delivering this generation yeah they did some things right, but they also did some things wrong as what can be expected of any big corporate entity. Some fans like certain decisions, some don't really have an opinion or dont care i guess, while others hate it. If your for it, your a son of a gun, if your against it your a son of a gun.

Well ActicEdge, this being a message board and all I do think everyones entitled to their own opinion =P I presume we all pay for our games/consoles so we reserve the right to criticize our purchases.

Thats still wrong, lol. The PC barely gets squat outside of Shanghai Alices developed TouHou.

That's really wrong, lol.

You do realize most of those are much older releases? its a collective database of sorts. I was talking bullet hell specifically. A lot of whats on there are browser based and 3rd party software games lol doesn't count nice try though. Try a site that filters out that junk and see what your left with.

[QUOTE="DarkLink77"] Because you can't play those anywhere else. :roll:DarkLink77

Not really, I see you fail to do research, or aren't up to speed on the whole story. The PC does have some BH games if you like TouHou or Crimzon Clover, but there are far more of those caliber shmups on the X360. However... quite a bit of them are region locked requiring you to buy a Japanese X360 :( DoDonPachi Resurrection (among many others) is one of those games.

For older systems I gotta go with the Philips CD-I. It wasn't MEANT to be a gaming console but more of an education tool (hence why it had lack of buttons on its controller). The Dragons Lair series weren't really games per say but interactive cartoons with quick time events. Just because a system has a few good games in its library doesn't necessarily equate to it being a success.

What I meant was that there are a good number of shmups on the 360 and PC. :P

Thats still wrong, lol. The PC barely gets squat outside of Shanghai Alices developed TouHou. We used to get Raiden of all things but no more. Yeah, the X360 but the ones on the XBLA are only a select few in number. Region locks and a lack of branching out to other consoles/platforms are whats keeping the niche genre down. For example the NDS currently has very few like endless ocean and Ketsui (I own it for the nds) ;/ Bottom line iphone is not that bad, and it could be doing substantially worse. The game library is still growing, its a bit premature to judge it right now. Ya sure its no NDS or PSP, but I reckon it doesn't have to be for what it can do.
