Because it's £35 in shops. That's literally nearly twice the price for half the product.

@udubdawgz @BigGamer69 It's glitchy as all hell, let's face it. Oblivion, Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim are all as glitchy as each other. It's a little like walking on eggshells. Not that the games aren't otherwise great.

@udubdawgz @Hotwire246 Why? =S. The way the pedestrians responded to everything you did? The way other characters felt alive and like they were living even when you werent around? The way you knew exactly where you were in the city because every area was so unique and detailed? The phone mechanic by itself was a lot more interactive than most games.

@udubdawgz I really can't see why you think it was void, even slightly =\. It always felt so alive and "busy" to me. Even the way the little white and red lights moved along the road when you were in a helicopter made it seem like so much was going on beneath you.

@Vozlov @dbene I agree that Redemption literally is GTA 1880s, but it's still a fantastic game. I didn't like it quite as much as GTAIV, tapping A repeatedly to make the horse move got a bit annoying after a while. And the missions were a bit repetitive. It picked up towards the end though.

I really, really don't understand all the hate for GTAIV. It's 10 score was well deserved.

Everything in the game is so refined that every element just comes together perfectly.

Everyone complains about the car physics. Really? I mean... they're beautiful. Certainly not "realistic", but a damn bit more so than other sandboxes. But it's not even that it's supposed to be realistic. It's just fitting to the game and the environment. "DA CARS DUNT TURN", what? Slow the hell down and let go of the trigger once in a while. You think people hold the accelerator floored down when turning in real life? No. What do you think would happen? They would spin out or crash into a wall exactly like in GTAIV.

The way Niko stumbles if he trips or gets nudged by a car in a completely unpredictable manner, and the way he attempts to keep himself standing blew my mind when I first saw it. The shooting felt perfect, especially snipers. The way the target dropped when you pulled the trigger was so satisfying. And the cover system worked so well.

Every little detail always impressed me. Everything responded the way you wanted it to. Even little things that were like "ah I bet it won't do anything...", did. The graphics were beautiful, if a little low-res on consoles. But I never really noticed (I played on 360). The only letdown was multiplayer, and it wasn't even multiplayer itself that I didn't like... it was just the health bar went down too quickly. I bet if they gave you options for everyone having 2x, 4x, 10x health (similar amount to the GTA3 era games) in multiplayer it would be a lot more enjoyable.

And for the record, it annoys me when all people care about in GTA is blowing crap up. That is NOT what the GTA's have ever been about. Ever since GTA1 (heck it's even in the name, Grand Theft Auto) it's been about the dirty world of car thieves and gangsters. And they portray this so well. San Andreas was my least favourite because it completely lost focus on what the game was about. I guess that's why it appeals to so many derps with zero attention span that just want to hit people and make things go boom. That's what Saint's Row is for.
