While it isn't essential, I think it is better. I play my Gamecube on it (Not HD, but still good). And I am yet to see Football on it, so who knows. I live in Cincinnati, though, so seeing Packers games AT ALL is good enough for me.

As a PACKERS fan in Cincinnati, I must say that hopefully the Bengals will suck and the packers will be good.  After all, that seems somewhat likely, as 2005 was the only recent year where that didn't happen.

Oh, and lets hope nobody steals the ball from Favre.
