MGS4 was the best way to end the game.

Anway MGO should be looked at a totally different way. It should be seen as a story in it self. I guess I make no sence but what Im saying is I look at it this way. MGO is a story of your character (or you) that starts of as a n00b. And like n00bs you have no skill, then you earn skills in ur chosen profession, then someone teaches you. And before you know it your the one teaching.

It's like a story of your soldiers life if you want to call it that

IF you have a look at today's current games they have any of these 5 things which are: Mind Blowing Graphics, Movie like Cut-scenes, Actors/Models (Either Acting or Voice Over {VA}) Story-telling (Or Storyline) and a "Stealth" theme (gen-er) of something like that.

If it wasnt for MGS we wouldn't have Splinter Cells "Stealth" mechanism, or we wouldn't have a storyline and graphics in HALO or FF series.

If you look at video games before and during MGS1 (PS1) there was very little, if not any sort of game like that. But after the MGS1 was becoming a "Best Of" game, major video game companies started doing there games like that in "Graphics, Cut-scenes and Storylines" If there was no MGS,

Would we have games like HALO, FF or Splinter Cell today? and if we did would it be the same?

I could be wrong, and yeah everyone has the opinions and options and say ect ect. Im just stating what I think (and this is just the beginning of my statement but I ain't saying no more) is in a "Sence" right. But like I said I could be wrong, who knows. So if I have my say and thoughts so should to everyone else

Ok I'll be honest... I LOVVVVEEEE metal gear solid 4's single player, but MGO? i'm not saying it's bad, i just don't like it :)

EDIT: I'm sorry didn't notice its about metal gear solid only not 4, Metal Gear Solid for the PS1 is EXCELLENT, if you havent played it yet, buy metal gear essentials immediately :)

Anyway, To completely Understand MGS4, (Metal Gear Solid 4, Ya N00B's) You have to play MGS1, MGS2 and MGS3. But not in that order you need to play it in this order: MGS3, MGS1 then MGS2. This is becuase MGS3 Starts the WHOLE STORY! MGS1 Explains What happens (basics tho) in MG and MG2. And Sets up the the Main Idea about the main charater (Solid Snake PS: Yeah!) and Metal Gear (the HUGE MOTHER****ERBATTLE TANK).

Then MGS2 gave Snake his STATUE (PS: Ohh Yeah) by making you play another charater (Raiden). But when people lerent this (Mostly Fans) They got angry that you had to play a girly-like guy that looks even girly-er in that suit. But Some people did'nt mine (Like me) because this showed another part of snake that you couldnt see, if you were playing him, in which Kojima did it, but the fans werent happy about that :( . Also in MGS2 it created the idea of "The Patiorts" who was an unknown factor though-out the whole game, and it got werid (and for me scary) that they were some-what computers :S

*Spoiler* (Sorry about this it's a really quick story-telling)

Then MGS3 went back in time to the every beginning, which was in 1964 when a train Operative known as Jack (Then the code Name: Naked Snake) was sent to save some dude. But when taking him Back he see's his most loved person and mentor "The Boss". During this it turns out that shes defected to the Russia (It was known as the U.S.S.R or Soviet Union at that time) and left him near dead.

I ain't going to say the rest cause YOU MUST SEE IT YOURSELF!

Then MGS4 is after the event of MGS2 (4 years after I might add) and if you played it you know what it's about. This time BADDA*SS! This was payback to the di**heads that cursed Kojima about him making you play Raiden, (Which he would of let us play as, if wasnt for those people) and yeah you know the rest.

Surplizing that went further then needed, but yeah also btw if you got a PSP it might be an idea to get MGS:PO (Portable Ops) which is 2 to 7 years (Not Sure) after MGS3 and is part of the Whole Story.
