Smith will have a few years to straighten things out.
If anything it gives him plenty of time to try different schemes, especially coming on as a defensive-minded coach.

Also, if Atlanta goes .500 next season I will be shocked.

I try to stay away from Patriots discussion, but I have to say: This is why so many people hate the Patriots and their fans. Have a little humility.

A.) People ARE jealous so please don't insinuate that they aren't. Any person would love to see their favorite team go to the SB 4 times in the past 7 years.

B.) Most of the discussions concerning the Patriots do not represent the average fan. I love the Patriots, but I understand why people do not like them and I honestly don't care. What I do care about is this Union's love of bashing players/coaches that deserve much more respect.

I don't understand why people who considers themselves sports fans would ever want to see a perfect season spoiled.
