I agree 2K makes the best sports games period for both consoles and PC. EA is like a wicked stepmother beating you senseless year after year and cutting off your allowance however i gotta play football so i buy it. If i knew were to get NFL 2K5 with updated rosters i would buy it , how about sharing your secret with the rest of us so we can boycott them too eh ?squidbilly22

Yeah I know what you mean bro, but we can't keep giving EA our money when they're clearly laughing at us now? Have a look for NFL 2K5 to buy on Amazon (or ebay) and your rosters from somewhere like the Operation Sports forums or wait, here's where I usually get mine: http://nfl2k5rosters.com Have a look around the site, there's some PC tools to fix the season like Finns 2K5 Editor that can edit your franchise, season schedule, coaches, players, etc. For Xbox/360 as well as PS2/3.

Just saw this little Madden 25 review, what do you think? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBsqt22BIrI :D

I'm not totally against Madden as it's still a fun game w/ friends fo sho. I just miss the whole simulation aspect and TV sports presentation of 2K style and hopefully MLB The Show team might pick up the ball where EA fumbled. Enjoy the season!

Well, I still enjoy 2K5 because in my opinion I think it was.. sorry, IS the last good NFL videogame (with updated rosters). If, like me and a few friends are doing, you refuse to buy Madden, then perhaps one day in our lifetime the NFL will finally get the message that we aren't happy about the current license situation? If you buy Madden before that happens, it's likely that will never happen and EA will continue to put out the same rubbish, year after year. Gullible gamers who naively continue buying Madden are preventing the rest of us who are patiently waiting for the return of 2K Sports to the competition so we can choose what game to buy for ourselves. I'm not saying you can't have your Madden if that's what you want, but you are stopping the rest of us NFL fans from having any choice. Even if Madden 25 was a good game, it's necessary to boycott until we have that choice.

When EA's sales figures drop low enough they will probably blame it on "piracy" rather than ever admit they make bad videogames or acnowledge the fact that thousands of NFL fans around the world are boycotting.

Ask yourself the question, if EA Tiberon were so confident and capable of making great NFL videogames, why would they need an exclusive contract so nobody else can try? Join us and boycott EA.

Best Civil War movie? Cromwell (1970), starring Richard Harris... ;)

PS: If you want something relevant to AC3 then John Adams (TV series) is a must-watch.

Well I already preordered the PC version but after thinking about it some more, if I like the game enough, I might get this for my PS3 as well. Just think, after all these years this is the FIRST Hitman game made for it! Yeah, the old PS3 phat will play old PS2 games of course, but my PS3 slim doesn't!

I was thinking it'd be cool if the old Hitman games were re-released on PS3 in HD format, same as Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, God of War HD Collection, Tomb Raider, Silent Hill and Prince of Persia HD. Anyone else?

Oh well, I ripped Jesper Kyd's awesome soundtrack from my Hitman Blood Money CD onto my PS3 XMB a few months ago and still have the soundtrack playing on it in the background even now, thinking it'd be cool to actually play a Hitman game on my PS3, rather than just listen to the music...

The whole game is to be banned in Aus, sorry mate!

Just kidding ;) although I wouldn't be surprised if we read in the news section it's "being considered to be banned in Aus" with "talks" going on behind closed doors. Of course, it's a deliberate marketing tactic engineered to get the game into the headlines to boost sales, that's all. I doubt Io Interactive will bother spending any money playing the ban card though, I mean we tend to see those marketing methods reserved for lower quality games that NEED all the publicity they can get. I won't name any examples for legal reasons, but you can probably guess which games studios used the services of Max Clifford in the past.

Hey there, I know many of you stopped buying Madden years ago but I think it's worth reminding others about it and why it's a good idea. I know it's kind of stating the obvious, sorry about that. Once again, please consider this:

1. Keep buying Madden and EA will never have the incentive to fix or improve the game. They don't need to.

2. Lost revenue sends a clear message to the NFL; EA aren't up to the job. Competition needs to return. Freedom of choice is a good thing; healthy competition improves standards for everybody. Stifling competition lowers standards. At least, I hope that's obvious to most of you.

Ladies and gentlemen, you may have noticed that EA's standards have gone through the floor without competition. Don't you want to see a GREAT NFL game again? All I'm saying is the exclusivity contract needs to end now. Other firms like 2K Sports need to be given a chance again to show us what they can do. Or any other company, it doesn't matter. Let's compare at least two NFL games once a year by two different publishers and let's see which one is best. Remember, every year you buy Madden, EA have every right to say, "Yo wiseguy what's the problem? They's keeps buying it so we's musts be doing something right eh?!?! Fugheddaboudit!"

So, even if you love giving your hard-earned money to EA every year please consider boycotting along with the rest of us NFL fans. In a few years from now - if you are still alive - you can hopefully look forward to a truly great NFL videogame one more time along with the rest of us who have a passion for the sport. YOU can help us send a message to EA they will understand; hit them in the wallet where it hurts. Come and join us in the great Madden boycott and let us say we claimed VICTORY!!!! If not for you, do it for your children!

Of course, the EA employees and corporate marketing division in here will disagree with us. We must respect their point of view and allow them every opportunity to call us idiots and morons for sticking up for what is right. Let them carry on shooting themselves in the foot even more and let's say good riddance to EA's shady business practices once and for all. After all, they are afraid, they are scared of losing their jobs. Thanks! :)

Yeah exactly. The guy above who mentioned money was just stating the obvious -YAWN- haha. I mean it goes without saying that's a part of it, obviously. It's those "legal reasons he can't talk about" that are curious. So let's speculate... maybe he slept with the boss of Io Interactive's wife..? :)

The funny thing is, it wasn't until I'd finished Blood Money back in 2006 that I realised it was David Bateson and NOT who I'd wrongly assumed had done the voice of 47 all along - Cole Hauser. You know, the actor who played "Johns" in Pitch Black. Skip to 3:57 for Cole Hauser: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RsFlNBpV5s He sounds like Agent 47 to me?

Now Bateson has an English accent of course, but didn't he put on a slightly "American" accent for the Hitman games? I thought Tim Olyphant did a good job as 47 too...
