Haha nice keep trying mate. It's a nice level to look at, but the duel was a bit lame I thought. Took me hours but I finally managed SA waiting above the Heaven lift and wiring Martinez, took his costume and got Eve in her office, staying well away from the Heaven dancefloor area. I think there's a certain grey-haired bloke hanging around there who if he notices you, you don't get SA rating. I think the guy who is sometimes leaning against the wall outside - him. It's the one thing I kept missing.

Gotta love "A New Life" mission too... putting ether on panties dressed as a clown... haha. BTW speaking of that mission, did you know there's a Russian Hare rating?

Thanks for the info! OK I just read the statement on his own site www.davidbateson.dk:

"Its not been a dull year so far. To all the fans of the computer game series Hitman, I am extremely disappointed to announce that after 11 years as the voice of Agent 47, I have been unceremoniously dropped from the franchise. May I take this opportunity to warmly thank all those who have written to me in support. I really appreciate it and I only hope for your sakes, Hitman Absolution lives up to all our expectations. I am sure it will. I have been honoured to have been a part of such an incredible game. For legal reasons, I cannot comment further at the moment. Kind regards, David."

Looks like a petition is in order then, consider it signed my friend. It'd still be interesting to know the reason why it happened. What do you think? Maybe someone at Square Enix didn't like Bateson for some reason? Or maybe, the new actor (whatever his name is) who took over David's old job was given some backroom deal in a Mafia style payoff for something? You know, like in The Godfather movie? Maybe one day in the future David can tell us exactly what happened, when the "legal reasons" he's tied down to no longer apply?

I agree with you mate but before signing a petition do we know the reason why David isn't in it? I mean, isn't it possible he didn't want to do it (unlikely but still a possibility), or maybe he's too busy working on something else? I'd like to know the reason. I guess if the decision was made "behind closed doors" though, or if David isn't saying why, then we'll never know.

Another apparently crazy decision was to drop Jesper Kyd for his usual soundtrack work but I heard he was busy working on another project and wasn't available. Or at least that's what I heard, I could be wrong?

BTW, have you seen this? www.youtube.com/watch?v=yjZiNYIK_IY :)

Yeah man, I just read that on Rock, Paper, Shotgun: Much Obliged: Hitmans Freeform Contracts

Now we can design our own hits in the game. Awesomeness.

Anyone else think it'd be cool if Gary Numan's Absolution (Hybrid Remix) is in the Hitman: Absolution soundtrack?

This version, here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVmVd-g8MuQ

Even if it was just on the closing credits sequence it'd still be awesome to use Gary's song.

Or is it just me?

I have to admit that even without the brilliant David Bateson and Jesper Kyd, I'm still looking forward to it. Currently doing a playthrough of my old Hitman games (Silent Assassin rating or nothing!), watching the Hitman movie again and listening to Jesper Kyd's awesome soundtracks on my ipod.

PS: I just had to say it that I almost forgot how much I love the Tosca opera rehearsal mission in Blood Money, haha good times and hurry up November! :)

Agreed, yes. In the past I've bought a few of the same games for my PS3 and PC and without question the PC versions are the smoothest, running solid for me @ 1920x1080, 120Hz. The console versions usually suffer from microstutter, especially the latest games that are now struggling to run on old console tech.

Some great games mentioned here for sure. BTW, did you know that a TIE Fighter Mod came out some time ago where you can play the original game with X-Wing Alliance qual gfx? It's not perfect, but it's a pretty great job as it stands.

TIE Fighter Total Conversion: www.tftc.gaylenol.com

Enjoy :)

As for me... I'm still waiting for Elite 4... ;)
