Wait for Forza 2 and DiRT, coming soon. try those because I'm not a racing fan either but both those games have me really interested and i'm considering buying one of em.
Sports games, especially those by EA, are mostly just the same game released the previous year with slight updated graphics and plus a few feature, and minus a few too, so it doesn't take very long.
I have an american account so i can get certain free gamer pics and themes, MS has not banned my account, and there isn't any reason why they should delete my account.
