In Platinum, i suggest starting out with Chimchar. You're not going to find very many fire type pokemon compared to all the water type and grass type pokemon youll find. Also try to catch an Abra/kadabra and a Ghastly.
Idk when you take out your DS in front of other people, it;s like your ignoring them and you think your DS is more entertaining. I say when you're out with other people try not to play it. But if you're waiting for other people, on the bus, or somewhere else by yourself, by all means play.
I've gotten a few games off of ebay and i've had no problems. But, be sure not to buy games from Asia. A huge % of games on ebay are from asia and usually they're fake and take a while to arrive at your doorstep. Bottom line, make sure to buy from a US seller.
Yea i just walked in yesterday, traded in my Lite and a few games, and got my blue DSi. It's a pretty sweet system, but I wouldn't have gotten it if I had to pay full price.
