Okay, so Darksiders II is set entirely in the years between the Apocalypse & the events of the original Darksiders, right?

When Death reaches the Well of Souls he chooses to restore humanity, thus 'undoing' War's supposed crime.

And yet, in Darksiders, you don't see a single living human (ie not a Wicked or Undead) nor do you even hear mention of a revival...so what happened to humanity? Did Death screw up? And yet in the post-credits cutscene the Dark Prince (assuming it's him, although 'my prince' could just be Lilith's pet name for whoever her master was) says that "Death has returned Man to the Balance", so it would seem that no mistake was made in that respect.

In fact, looking at the whole 'resurrecting humanity' thing, the idea hardly makes any sense. The Third Realm is now inhabited by the forces of Hell, the Hellguard & the Wicked (& at the time of Death's actions the Destroyer & his Chosen too) & Earth is generally far too ruined for simply bringing back mankind to 'undo' the entire goddamn Apocalypse.

So yeah, any ideas about all this? The Darksiders wiki hasn't been of much help.Even a bit of wild speculation would be nice to see (though don't go making out that it's canon ;) ).

Thorns damages your enemies a little when they damage you. It's not all that useful as you shouldn't really be being hit in the first place & the amount of damage it does is fairly poor.

Resistance lowers the amount of damage you recieve from magic attacks.

Almost like a futuristic LA Noire? Would definitely be cool, so long as the character isn't as useless as Jayden was - I was pitying the poor guy on so many occasions.
