@Star67: Just a few things:

1. Sony is not a lead designer of Blu-ray tech. It was created by someone else and then Sony and Pioneer took (not negative) the work and created prototypes

2. Digital versus Disc is not a format war, they are just mediums

You're right, it does make sense to go digital. Because of the growing size of content (and it will continue to grow), the research and costs involved in developing new physical mediums, just isn't worth it anymore, beyond a "hey, look what we can do" scenario.

Just for the sake of pickiness....it's not done by one man. Blow is the frontman and lead, but there is an actual team involved.

My favorite part is "blurry to the point of distraction" as if sub-1080p is some kind of horrible experience

I'm using Plex on XB1 and it works perfectly....even the Media Player works just fine when reading from my Plex server
