@TazmanianD @GyroGate I found myself wondering if this was a player-made promo movie for Dark Souls 1; these graphics look severely outdated I'm afraid. Killed the immersion for me.
@USSJVegeta @GyroGate @Xomonuchi Not sure what *I* would have done differently, seeing as how I am not a game developer - but I wish they had focused more on introducing new and improved aspects to the game, both puzzle and gadget-wise, to make the experience seem fresher and newer - among tons of other things.
@Xomonuchi @GyroGate Call of Duty sure was a lot of fun the first time I played it, but after you've played one you've played them all. Shame the reviewers don't understand that > but this is exactly why we need more people like Carolyn; that actually speak the truth instead of just forcing out high scores for mediocre games.
And yeah, Vegeta - I went super Saiyan up in that bi*ch. It felt like playing Pokemon Black after Pokemon White; you get to the point where you're about to capture your favorite Pokemon again; and you go "dafuq am I doing this for again." and you turn it off.
If you're just going to toss the same points after sequels that have the same gameplay without introducing anything new, then what's the point of reviewing those games? Then you should just staple it "SEQUAL, SAME RATING AS BEFORE OBVIOUSLY."
People need to grow a pair and get more critical, instead of allowing the bigger game companies to run you over, when YOU SHOULD BE EXPECTING MORE.
IF they do remake Baldurs Gate & Baldurs Gate 2, I sincerely hope they go away from the DA1 & 2 gameplay, and make it more like the original Baldurs Gate 1 & 2 with updated graphics. Storychanges and "wack-a-mole" combat is NOT needed for those games. They need to use all of their original voice actors & music as well. I can't help but feel like they are going to completely piss all over those old, PERFECT games.
