If I got a monitor that supports 1680x1050 how do I get 1080p if possible for my PS3? I read somewhere about "upscaling"? please help. If I cant get 1080p will a Ps3 still look god on it?

This is 40' but is 1080p I would just chip in another $100 for it. There really nice, and all those inputs!

Or I guess this works:

YOur good with either of those, but you should go to a store and compare picture quality there

Well for one 1980x1024 isnt 1080... sorry.... But its really easy to hook a PS3 up to it. Get an HDMI chord and go to best buy and get an HDMI-VGA adapter. Itll make the HDMI signal VGA then just plug it into your monitor.

Im torn between the Samsung T220:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8817462&productCategoryId=pcmcat143700050048&type=product&tab=1&id=1206749957379#productdetail

and the HP W2207:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8661646&productCategoryId=pcmcat143700050048&type=product&tab=1&id=1196470439109#productdetail

I'd use it for my MAcbook Pro and PS3 but the connections are a problem. the HP has VGA and HDMI. COnveinant for the PS3 but id need an adapter for the MBP. The Samsung has DVI for both. So it comes down to which one offers better picture. PLEASE HELP!
