I´m starting to like CQ, it´s kinda growing on me. The new weapons are a welcomed addition which will hopefully ween people of the usual M16A3 / M4 / AEK combinations.
Conquest Domination is a great way to level up weapons quickly due to the confined spaces, although it does get boring fast. You take one flag, the enemy the other, you run there to retake, they do to and repeat.
"Gun Master" (a Counterstrike / Black Ops rip-off) should be a great run-gun experience, but it is actually disappointing as, at least on console, the map seem too big and you find yourself in a match with a lot of run and very little gun. When you do find someone, they usually have a PDW or shottie and you´re with a pistol!
Still, its something different and a blatant attempt by DICE to get more people playing Battlefield 3, which can only be a good thing.
I´m not sure what´s more disappointing about this news - that DICE have the balls to charge for a "Premium" service with a game so badly flawed and bug heavy, or that despite all the EA/Dice bashing I´m reading here, everyone will probably go ahead and buy it, including me!
I love BF3 and try to see through the glitches and bugs we all know and love (bipods which don´t deploy; reviving being a 50/50 art form; the spawn menu suddenly blocking your screen etc etc) but news that a publisher, knowing its product has so many flaws still unfixed, has the balls to ask for more money from gamers instead of spending some of the cash they generated to give us gamers the game we paid for... It´s just disgusting... and surely destined to be a huge money maker like COD Elite. Sad days ahead gamers..!
