I went to play it at the Best Buy Wii U event and had quite a bit of fun. Unfortunately, practically no one had interest in it. :'(

Sometimes knowing that you have an easy way out ruins the experience. I am, of course, referring to all of these options modern stealth game devs like to boast about.

Gamespot sure does like that Mass Effect/The Walking Dead thumbnail. :P

More than possible, I want it to be encouraged. At least on the harder difficulties like the older games.

That's kind of cool actually. At least in my opinion.

@moc5 @Grovilis @hystavito Though not nearly to the scale of AAA games. You could mention Minecraft, but that's one case out of ... a ton. Either way, indie games tend be a lot more unique than their AAA counterparts despite some being so popular.

@hystavito Which is kind of why I wish the IP was handed over to an indie dev. They're not constrained to what the masses want.

Bleh. People comparing this to AC in any manner is giving me a bad feeling. If the devs for Thief 4 are wanting to compete with the AC series, then we might very well end up with a very butchered Thief game. The two series are not meant for the same type of consumer.
