I recently revisited gears 2's offline multiplayer with my girlfriend and its a blast for the most part (nowhere near gears one). but im having some trouble understanding what they did to the shotgun, it is so inconsistent and not like a real shotgun.

First of all liked the 2 piece because if you hit a guy point blank with a shotgun hes supposed ot die.

but like i shot a guy point blank twice in the head with a shotgun and he didnt die and proceeded to down and kill me.

ive had enemies jib me at 4-6 feet with one and my gf survive 2 blasts at point blank full front range.

also an enemy downed me with one shot at about 10 feet no active.

the shotgun in this game is so inconsistent and provides probably the most broken part of the game for me

WHAT DID THEY DO TO IT?

for being a release title for the 360 crackdown is till a fun game to mess around with

im pretty sure it wasnt a release title... cuz it came with the halo 3 beta.. and gears one was already out at that time

go to small shops, speciality ones if you have em, like in calgary theres one called video game traders.. little stores like that have em, you pay a lil more but valk its worth it

im a sucka for ninja games , i liked NG 2 Very much , and considering in getting the remake for the first one (is it any good? , how was it called for the 360?)

the question i do want to know - ive seen a buzz theres a multiplayer feature in NB , any idea what is it?

i recently updated my ps3 and on most of the drop down menu selections in the top left corner theres a small circle with what looks like a wrench in it? what does this mean? its on like half of my icons.

I played the original on the PS1 years ago, and am tempted to try MP2 as I see it's avail for download for like 1200 pts on XBLA - was MP2 that bad?

Didn't see a thread on it yet. The demo is up on marketplace now and offers the map Vertigo to play over Xbox live! What are your impressions?

I'm enjoying it so far, though without the ability to play with friends or in teams I can't really get a good sense of what this is really going to be like in the full version. But the gameplay seems pretty solid, and the single player should be pretty bomb. I'll be getting it.

If a new game in a series or a sequel to a game you loved came out which ones would be automatic buys for you if you could expect the gameplay to be similar to the previous games.
