I'm not sure what the uproar is. They are updating it constantly with new modes (Night vision, reinforce etc) (also many new coop modes) ,maps (shoothouse, crash, etc), guns (Holger-26 and RAM-7) that you don't have to pay extra for after the game has been released. You can still unlock camos and stuff for free. If they want to have some paywall for things that don't affect gameplay then that's fine with me. In the old days, you had to pay extra just for the maps and guns. I feel like this is a much better deal.

@reznik00: That thinking is a little one sided. For example, my son's friend wanted to play this one game with him. We don't own it but it was on game pass. Since we had a subscription and we have amazing internet, he was able to join him in 15 mins and play. I find that to be fantastic.
For me I value my subscription services like this, If I get an hour of enjoyment for every dollar that I spend then it's worth it. I have a family of 5 so if each of us has spent on average 2 hours each in a whole month then it's worth it. It's really nice when deals like this come along cause then you're really only paying $5 instead of $10 with really increases the value of things. These deals happen more than once a year so really rarely paying $10 a month.
@thephenom921: I had more issues with the controls than the lag but that's just the funky way the Switch controls are. I had a fun time playing on Switch.
