Only played the first one, and it was awesome. Loved the art style.

I could pay 15$ a month for 1 game that takes a lot of time and is pretty fun, or I could buy a new 59.99$ PS3 game every 2 weeks (because thats how long it takes for me to get sick of nearly any game). Saves me some money.

I just started playing about a week ago and it does start to pick up after a while. The quests stay pretty much the same (go get this, kill x of this) but you can start doing dungeons around 15 with a group and those are pretty fun. A good way to get there a little quicker is to find someone of a higher level to run you through an instance before you should be in there. I did one in Orgrimmar that was meant for a group of level 15's at level10 with the help of my friend who is a level 29, I got to level 12 in about 5 runs of the dungeon as well as got some awesome gear. That just helps it pick up a little faster.

It really depends on the additional features offered, all of the current functions will remain free which is awesome. If they went for a full pay for play thing I would throw my PS3 out the window right now, because that is the main reason I will never own an X-Box. I already paid for the game why make us pay to play it. but back to my point, I would be willing to pay for additional features on the PSN if they seem worth it. Things like Facebook, twitter and Netflix would not be worth paying any money for but if they added some kind of TV streaming (similar to the iPlayer in the UK) I may pay as long as it has some good networks (FX, Spike, G4, ect)

I know plenty of people in thier 40's that still game. They are not the stereotypical super nerds either, most of them are married, have children and work respectable jobs. Even my dad ,who just turned 50, plays racing games pretty regularly. I don't think there really is an age in which it is no longer appropriate to game as long as it doesnt consume your life, but that should hold true at any age. You have to stand up for your right to play no matter how old you are.

My favourite moment wasn't even during gameplay, while waiting for a COD:WAW match to start up someone was playing Dead and Gone by T.I. (BTW if you want to be instantly hated play music over the mic in any multiplayer game) So me and a friend started singing along terribly, then nearly everyone else who had a mic started in as well. Dead and Gone boy quickly left the game and I had never felt obligated to friend everyone in a match before that day.

I would hop that they would make a Twisted Metal for the PS3 but I doubt it. Towards the end of the franchises life sales and interest in the series dropped signifigantly. This left the series with only a small group of fans that still remain loyal to this day but it was unable to gather new players, it was just too basic for people unfamiliar with the series to want to pick up. If they do release a new one it will probably be so overhauled that it will barely resemble the originals. Unless it gets made as a PSN download, I think it could find its niche there.
