@sladakrobot: Would you mind sharing where you got that Data? I pulled this list from Steam Database and currently its number "48" on "Most played RPG games on Steam". If I sort by "All Time Peak", then it rises to number "14". Cyberpunk 2077, Baldur's Gate III, Hogwarts Legacy and Fallout 4 are in the top 11 spots.

I liked the game enough, but I didn't love it. The first 25 hours or so were pretty exciting and new. But after that, (for me) it got a bit boring to where I just wanted to finish it and move on.

@ormgaard: 100% agree. If you loved Baldur's Gate and you also loved the DOS series, then how can you not be completely awestruck right now. I can't remember the last time I was this excited for an upcoming game!! Baldur's Gate with turn-based mode?? OMGOMGOMG! I'm taking a week's vacation when it comes out.

Instead of citing complaints, I'm going to try and keep this positive and hopefully helpful. I LOVED DA: Origins. Extremely well thought out plot, amazing and interesting characters that were fully fleshed out that you grew to care about, different origin stories that encouraged multiple play-throughs with different races and backgrounds and quests that actually meant something. All of this was thrown out of the window with DA: 2. DA: Inquisition had some very interesting moments and characters, but was just too large and overwhelming with not a lot of great substance and tons of uninteresting filler fetch/kill "x" amount of creatures quests.

I would love to see a new DA game that brings back the spirit of "Origins". Well thought out quests with gravitas as opposed to simple fetch/creature kill counting. Different origin stories that ground you in the world that you live in which makes your overall personal quest lines more meaningful. Great quest lines for the NPC's that join you. Combat that relies on tactical thinking. Perhaps (something that wasn't in the original) guilds which you can join based upon your profession that has it's own quests lines. (i.e: Fighter's Guild, Spellcasters Guild, Rogues Guild...etc) where you could work your way up the ranks and at some point own.

This is a game I would yearn to own.

Hmmm.......a campaign to dislodge the moon by shooting a giant asteroid at it? Sounds like a diabolical evil plan if you ask me. Would you also be asking for...."One....Billllion dollars" while you stroke Mr. Wigglesworth and feed your sharks with freakin' lasers on them? :-D
