You can't even play TW on a PC, I would guffaw my ass off if a console gamer proposed the possibility of a port. Granted that RA3 and CC3 have respectable and downright successful controls on the 360, you can't play TW on a console, there are too many commands, too much complexity. That and the fact that in ETW as in the first 4 games, units literally don't follow orders half of the time, which would be even more frustrating on a console where you can't necessarily move about and control the battle as easily.

[Yes i am aware you can play it on PC, i mean figuratively speaking. My bad computer runs it fine on high graphics, i just mean the ai is broken and all the other bugs]

TW is definitely a game that defines the abilities of PCs, but I wouldn't say any game defines pc gaming. PC Gaming is very diverse and literally excels at every game type there is. I'd vote for Total War, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Halflife, Sims, any of those series.

Did you seriously just say Wow defines PC Gaming? You're an idiot and 11 million people don't agree with you. They play WoW because it requires no talent, and affordable hardware, and because they have no lives. The game in absolutely no way demonstrates the abilities and versatility of PC Gaming at all. It is an extremely glorified version of IMVU. And trust me, I've played WoW since day one. I'm glad I quit after T8 and I'll never play again because the game is retarded and a waste of time and money.

If you worship Actiblizzard that's fine, you're an idiot, but unfortunately we can't stop the gaming industry from ruining itself because it's already been done, but if you honestly think that out of 30 years of PC Gaming that WoW is the height of accomplishment, you seriously need to leave the internet and play some games.

The game runs fine on a 2.0 ghz. Unfortunately, it's still the buggiest game ever sold in history. I wouldn't even bother buying it if i were you, regardless of your hardware. Not for a few years, maybe one day they'll fix this atrocious excuse for a Total War game.

Nah dude ETW is inequibly the buggiest game in the history of PC gaming, definitely in the history of CA and Sega. When ETW first came out i ran it on an absolutely bad computer with almost 3 year old hardware and it ran, though it was completely awful and terrible and I wanted to pull my hair out because i could read all my textbooks in the time it took to go through the end turn process. So now i havea brand new computer, immensely better than the desktop i played on and writing on right now, and the game runs 50 times worse. This is even with the new updates. I have no idea what the deal is. Whatever they did and whatever they changed entirely destroyed the stability of the game that used to exist in the first 4 games. All my friends who play and have better computers than me still have heartache trying to run this game, and not even on high settings.

I'm having this problem right now. I'm playing fallout 3 and my Audigy 2 ZS is spitting static out of any input plugged into it and it's pissing me off immensely so I'm trying to use the on-board realtek HD audio 7.1. There is no option in the BIOS to enable the on-board audio chip, believe me, I've looked. The drivers are installed and it doesn't even appear as an option for audio. XP SP3 32 bit, will try seeing if there are newer drivers on the site.

Although Vista does suck up ridiculous resources I have to disagree. I'm running 64-bit ultimate and it literally uses 80% ram and CPU just idling, and god forbid you run a program such as itunes, with an actual 60gb library. However, despite all the unexplained software crashes (not many of them) every game has worked perfectly so far on Vista, just as stable as they did on XP Pro.
