So this is the rig I cooked up on pcpartpicker. I havent really built a pc before and am on a bit of a budget. I was just wondering if this looks okay (everything is comparable etc, also is that processor overkill for the gpu? This is the dumbest thread... The fact that a video game company is worth close to the same as an electronics company like Sony tells me Sony is having trouble...
The only thing I can't get over is how he specifically points of the poor infrared controls, and that because of them, you always end up facing the ground. Now the irony of this is that the game has no infrared and is all motion plus gyro, and if ur pointing at the screen your reticule SHOULD be down... It's just too hilarious that this guy fails T controlling the game.
Watching the apple press confrence right now and it turns out the iphone just has a better camera and it is a bit faster. It will be called the iphone 4s and it looks exactly the same as the 4. Oh did i mention it DOES NOT have 4g? wow im kind of suprised that after all this hype the iphone 4 is still years behind current smart phones.

Really? Years behind? That's probably the most ridiculous thing I've heard all day, the thing is more powerful then most current smartphones, and like 7 times faster than the iPhone 4 (that phone that still has a better display then every phone out). Also, iOS is one of the best (if not THE best) smartphone operating systems out there.
Awesome. Still mad that they only gave us 10 maps at launch but oh well, game is too good.

They had to ship with ten maps so they could sell us three more that could have been included for extra money. Anyone who actually thinks any of this stuff wasn't ready in time for the release is ignorant.
I definitely agree that epic made a mistake by slowing down the gameplay and failing with the multiplayer, but gears 2 is far from the worst sequel ever. Gears 3 on the other hand appears to have rectified nearly all of these problems, judging by the beta this will definitely be the best gears game, if not best third person shooter on the year.
I hate how people undervalue how good the multiplayer will be in Uncharted 3, I had more fun playing the UC3 beta than the Resistance 3 and Gears 3 betas. I like how they give the losing team an advantage and I like these dynamic maps the sandstorm thing will be fun.

Love how everyone's praising naughty dog for their awesome dynamic map changes like its something new. When gears 2 and 3 both have the exact same thing. Just sayin... First guy should know since he played trenches in the gears 3 beta..
Third year university. My major is Child and youth studies so a bunch of that crap. For my electives im taking some poli sci and a History of the Americas course.
