Nice keyboards but tbh I'll stick with my trusty old G15 for the time being. I do like Corsair, they make quality parts.

advice for everyone, switch off auto patching in Steam. Patch when you want to not when Steam wants. I'm not too bothered about modding atm I'll wait for the game changing mods in a few months time....though No. 9 has peaked my interest

There is absolutley no way that US laws can be forced upon non us citizens. I live in Britain and seeing as our government rolls over whenever the US says sit, then yes it would affect my country. good luck with the Turks and Former Russian states though.

Built a nice rig there with good quality components. Of course it could be done cheaper but that doesn't mean you made any bad choices with what you've got. Welcome back to PC gaming and proper adiction ;)

Not worried about Blizzard games needing always online connection to play. There's no one with more experience of keeping a large amount of servers with a large amount of players running with minimum downtime. There's no monthly sub and the pay as you go auction house is totally optional, large patches with small amounts of new content will be free (DLC's) and expansions will be good. So I have no worries about being able to enjoy Diablo III as much as I enjoyed the previous games.

I used to play FPS competatively, as a part of a clan and i can honestly say nothing in gaming has come close to the joy of proper, organised and co-ordinated team play, especially at a LAN tournament. I can say in all honesty it very nearly killed any joy I get from online games when I'm not in a proper team. (Never have kids if your serious about your sport ;) ) We were never the best, never put the time into it to be the best but we did on occasion play the top teams. These guys put as much training into their chosen game as any athelete does into their sport. Hats off to the pros out there, it takes a lot of time and dedication to be the best and they do deserve support.

It's just the way a contract driven industry works. You have to work to justify employment, if there's no work to be done then no one will employ you. That's same with any company no matter how large or small it is. If any company needs a person to fulfill a job requirment, they'll hire somone to do it, then when it's done if they're not needed anymore the contract ends. It's just the nature of business. I'm sure most of these poor software engineers out there fully understand the way thier industry works.
