@petez34 @Master_I I think he means additions like gymkhana, capture the the flag etc. rather than more traditional race types.
I dont own any dirt games so my opinion on this is not worth much but as long as these new modes dont reduce the quality of other parts of the game then i only see more variety as a good thing.
@JLCrogue well no they wont all be different consoles, he might for example have 10 xbox360's, one could be halo limited edition, another gow etc. so the same controller would work on 10 of his consoles. Also he probably has quite a few handhelds in that collection.
Yes too much arguing over systems, it makes no difference what you own, imo what makes someone a real gamer is simply a passion for games. A persons age, taste and the systems they own dont matter.
I mainly play on x360, it would be nice to own all the systems but unfortunately i cant right now, but i dont think that makes me less of a gamer than anyone who can afford to.We share a dream aha :) i keep telling myself im going to build a gaming pc, but damn its expensive, if im going to get one im going all in and building a powerful beast =D i have missed quite a few games, and still more coming like Total War: Rome II =O definitely need a gaming pc soon.
Actually i made a mistake, thought he said a real gamer should own every version of the game, what he actually said was that a "real gamer" should own every system, which is also a ridiculous claim.
ok so lets say a poor guy has been a gamer since he was a kid, played every game he could get his hands on, spends time researching game history, keeping up to date with changes in the industry, he has great passion and interest for games, but unfortunately he can only can afford one system, is he not a "real gamer"? and when someone else who has never really been interested in games and never even played any decides to buy every system ever made (just because they have more money than they know what to do with), does that make him a "real gamer"?
How many systems you can afford means nothing, telling everyone how much you own and claiming only people who can afford the same things are on your level or are "real gamers" is just being pathetic, like walking up to the homeless and saying "look at me i have so much money, im above you" ok im exaggerating a bit but you get the idea.
