Can your friends see your online status when you are on the Xbox website?

The little graphics I've seen of this game look absolutely spectacular. If the resf of the game looks anything like the small trailers I've seen, people will KNOW that the Wii has alot more to offer under the hood than just great gameplay. This game has my got my blood pumping and I can't wait till it comes out. However, I haven't heard much about this game. It's been very hush-hush. Has anybody heard anything about this game?
