Tip for all PS3 owners, never move your system around while a disc is inside. It can damage the blu-ray driver, the eye & maybe he did dislodge something inside. Always make sure you take the disc out before you move it, even if it's only sliding it across the floor to a different spot. BE VERY ****ING CAREFUL.

Lol @ the person stating the handling is bad. You do know each car is different? This isn't a stupid arcade game where you can easily turn at 230mph. The handling in this game is awesome & very realistic. Who loved the different reactions your could would have going up that first hill in the speed challange??

If only I could see replays, I want to see the other cars whipe out ^_^. And the damage is very realistic guys, you just have to know there is a 'limit' to the damage your car takes. Then it's considered totalled. Your car isn't going to crunch up into a can, how would you repair it each race? Btw, the car has a role cage (presumebly). This isn't a 'real life' simulator of dead on physics. The damage is to add reality to the game.

I seen nothing wrong with the demo, I did play it in 1080i however, but never noticed 'any' frame drops. Maybe your PS3 is hot?

Not all tvs support HDMI, it's also more expensive if you can recieve the same quality from DVI's. *one more thing* HDMI doesn't safely connect and is pron to damage if wires are kicked around *accidently*, only customized ones come locked but they are around $100+.

Here's some sales news, it's less likely to overheat or malfuction. It has a replaced motherboard & 65nm Cell (130 watts, compaired to 90nm 200watts). They also found it neccisary to downsize the headsink & re-organize the pipes. It should run even quieter then before.

If it has the 80gig's update, it has better blue-tooth access.

Your PS3 comes with a controller, use of any third-party intercooler voids your warentee. The 360 has problems where intercooler makes the system heat up more. (Don't take your chances) If you're getting a 40gig, you'll be happy to know the Cell has been reduced (From 90nm to 65nm), instead of 200watts it uses 130 watts.

For accessories, if you like to use the web a lot or chat online. Buy the 'thumb keyboard', it attaches on top of the controller. If you would like a headset, I believe any blue-tooth 1.2+ will do. They should sell madkatz 2.0 for $50's there. The PS3 controller comes with your PS3 BTW and is just fine & very durable. If your tv supports DVI HD you'll get the 5 prong cord because it can be 25-30 $'s. Much less then an hdmi & has the same effects (I believe).

You could plausibly pick up a webcam which is $40's called the Playstation Eye. (Not EyeToy, make sure you know this.) If you attempt to use a headset for ps2 games, know that only usb headsets will work. Blue-tooth headsets are only compatible with PS3 games (on the PS3 respectively).

Ps. I bought all of this 4 days ago, for around $140 (headset/cam/dvi cord/thumb-pad) 50 40 25 20.

This setup lets you use 4 usb' slots, 3 of the extra accessories & 1 for your controller. The thumb pad has to be plugged in and requires 2x AAA batteries. The cam is usb, the headset wireless.
