Hmm not that I want to join in on this hate-in....but really? You don't like inFamous because of something you essentially do in nearly every other game like it?

Now, I think inFamous was overrated myself and it was mainly to do with the powers and the controls. Shooting was absolutely fine (and a blast at times) but the that you did have to hold the L1 button for nearly everything was kind of tireseom. Plus, movement was very inconsistent. For example, you're almost too slow when you hold the L1 button, but you zip around an area when you are just moving this stick. Too many times I died because either my character would run past the enemy I was trying to melee or that he was turning too slow for me to aim at him.

I think it's a good game...just not a great one.

I got the call too...but be forewarned, the Gamestop employee on the phone told me that it's a "maybe" in most stores and if they don't recieve them, you won't get them until Tuesday. Plus, they may not have enough to cover pre-orders. So get there...quick!

On top of that, there's also the marketing problems it creates. Especially for a company that can't afford to release a game to all regions at the same time. If they can'r regulate what comes out on each region and not know what games sells where...well, let's just say we probably would get a bunch of Chibi-Aki games coming out in the states.

I think my Favorite character is real unpopular, but mine is by far and away King Dedede. His attacks have great range, he has excellent power, he can move and he's hard to contain. He does have a weak final smash, but it's hardly necessary with everything else he can do.

After him is Lucario, who's decent fighting mechanics and speed help along with his ability to make more damage as he's taking more.

Finally, the third fighter I tend to use a lot is Marth, who was actually a favorite of mine in Melee.

I posted this problem thread a few weeks ago, so hopefully I can get a different response:

I bought My Life As A King. I play the game for anyhwere between 30 min. to an hour and a half and suddenly, the Wii shuts off. There is no red or orange lite on either, it goes completely dark I have to unplug and replug the Wii in order to get power back on the Wii.

I have taken any steps I may have thought would be the problem: I deleted both the save file and the channel from my Wii and re-installed the game. I've even gone so far as deleting all of my channels from my Wii and re-installing the game. Still, after 30 - 1 hour, the game shuts off itself and the system.

To further add confusion, I can play games like SSBB, MKWii, Boom Blox and other VC titles and Lost Winds for over 2 - 4 hours and not have the problem at all.

Any ideas?

Hey guys, I've come up with an annoying problem over the past few days. Since I've downloaded My Life As A King, a problem has occured. After around 30 minutes of continuous play, my Wii not only shuts off, it completely powers off to the point that the only way to turn it back on is to unplug the Wii from my outlet and replug it back in.

I don't know if this is a crash bug from the game itself or a problem with my Wii, but it only happens when I'm playing My Life As A King (which is great, by the way). Any ideas on what it might be?

Do you know what I'm sick of? People making topics saying they're sick of something that I've never heard a single person say. Seriously, I've never heard anyone say that, and I've been in System Wars quite a lot...bobbetybob

I just found it funny that this started over a Zero Punctuation video lol.

Well Super Mario Galaxy and Super Paper Mario were meant to be Gamecube games. When the Gamecube started to decline, the games weren't released and were saved for the wii. The controls were just adjusted for the wii remote.

Requem

Super Mario 128 =/= Super Mario Galaxy. The former wasn't a real game, but rather a test platform for certain ideas and technologies. Some of which happened to make it into Galaxy.

Very true. If you read the ign article more carefully you will notice that the project is NOT carried over to Wii, it's cancelled and some bits of ideas and such carried over to SMG which is a brand new game developed from the ground up for the Wii.

Also they mention that the tech demo of 128 Marios inspired Pikmin :) .

OK, at this point now, we are going into a realm of argument that could potentially kill the idea of the post. Super Mario Galaxy was specifically designed for the Wii and there are many subtle (and not so subtle) ways to back that argument up. However, there are ways it could have been made for the GC, even though I believe it would change certain things of the game.

You know what, I do have respect for Twilight Princess for being a more mature minded 3D Zelda.

However, I still think Wind Waker is the best of the 3D Zeldas.

However, the 3D Zeldas, in my opinion, are of lesser quality than the 2D versions. This is because I felt that those games directly mirror Link to the Past and the other console 2D's, while games like the Minish Cap and Oracle of Ages/Seasons get left in the backburner while being superior games.
