Hey guys... Let me leave a little opinion on all these recently buggy releases.

After seeing this happen with Batman, Rage, Skyrim, Space Marine etc (some buggier than others, of course), I concluded this:

What if this is intentional to prevent piracy? I mean, the publishers could very well release a bugged version and then release the patch to solve it for all legal consumers. Some games doesn't offer the option to download a manual patch, and as almost every game nowadays make its way through Steam, manual patches became useless. This would justify patches being released just a week after the full game release. They could very well be planning to do this since the beginning. Now let's take the pirate versions: you can't download the patch, because it don't have the Steam key; even if you download the patch, it has a chance of not being compatible with the crack. Of course, someone can pirate the patched version, but until that, a lot of pirates would lose patience and buy the original version.

What you think?
