Co-op feels like it would make the game less scary and challenging. The sense of isolation and being alone was a big part of the mood and atmosphere of the first two games.

Does DS3 take place on Hoth? Because I'm sure I see snow falling in that picture and does Isaac have a FURRY COLLAR! heh

Awesome, the RMAH comes out just about when I'll be done playing D3. Because the game is already starting to get boring.

Aaaaaaaand quality takes a backseat to cashing in. If this thing is the 10 hour max on rails Kinect "experience" then I imagine it will totally be worth the $59.99 price tag. Really...

But I digress, I'm sure Moly left the franchise because it's ass kicking success was so overwhelming for him.

Do sales account for all the people who had to buy new Xbox 360's whenever the current one broke and they could no longer get it fixed under warranty?

@gin_rummy89

I wasn't referring to Curt Schilling, but rather those that ran his company.

Really sad news here, shame to sea all those hard working folks lose their jobs, homes, their livelyhoods. Given the talent behind KoA (MacFarlane, Salvator, Rolston) I was disappointed by how lackluster KoA felt. I got bored with it about halfway through.

How much do you want to bet the management didn't get very screwed out of all this, just the hardworking regular folks.

Curse you , you had to pick Skyrim (great game) and illustrate examples of stuff I would actually find useful with that controller hehe. I see what you're tying to do, very clever sir (or madame) but I'm onto you lol.

The map function of the controller in games is a toss up for me, in a game like Skyrim where the map is fullscreen then yes I would love to have it seperate from the main screen. But in games where the map does not fill the screen but rather is it's own little window on the main screen or jsut an overlay like in the Diablo games then I have no use for the WiiU controller.

I'm not saying the controller outright sucks, it just looks awkward to me and now they added thumbsticks...I am not a fan of thumbsicks by any means; I'll suffer them for some PS3 games I can't get on my PC, but that is few and far between.

I would wager the WiiU won't be less than $400 when it debuts. Maybe $350. Or maybe Nintendo will shock the shite out of us and price it at under $300.

Take away the controller and replace it with a standard controller...how interested are you?

The Wii...take away the motion controls and how good is the console?

To each their own, if you get one I hope you have fun with it. Myself, I don't like tiny little screens and awkward-looking placed controls, but I'm weird like that.

I don't doubt they will come up with clever uses for the controller with games but it's not the kind of control setup I find enjoyable and things like the inventory or map on the controller screen is stuff I would prefer to have on the big screen infront of my face.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want it to fail or anything like that...I just know it is not for me and I can't help but think it comes off as gimmicky, but that is just from my point of view of not being interested in tablets, motion gaming controls or various things which seem to lessen the immersion factor in gaming for me.

Eh you're right, I can't really lay that on Nintendo as they aren't directly making all thoe games themselves.

I revise my statement, hopefully developers won't poop out tons of shovelware games for the WiiU.
