Oh look, a crappy f2p (which will end up being p2p by the sound of it) attempt at cashing in on an existing tv franchise. I'm just gonna call this one a waste before it even comes out and move on.

At this point I just expect this movie to suck. Just give it to Uwe Bol and be done with it.

I agree with Sundberg 100%. I rarely ever bother with DLC or the multiplayer components tacked onto games.Take the CoD franchise for instance; I lost interest in paying $60 for a single player campaign that lasts about 8 hours on average and I can't stand the multiplayer. I would pay maybe $20 for the single player if it was a little longer, other than that I just rent them for a day or two for the PS3 and then move on. Take the Dead Space franshise as another example; I felt like I got my money's worth out of the single player campaigns of the first 2 games, but the second game did feel underwhelming in comparison to the first game and I have to think that it is because of the tacked on multiplayer. Was there really a need for multiplayer in Dead Space? I don't think so and apparently neither do the devs since there won't be ny multiplayer in Dead Space 3.

In this age of digital downloads and episodic games and so forth is it that hard to seperate the single player and multiplayer components of a game and let me pay less for or the other if I wish. Hell game makers, charge whatever you want for the multiplayer component, I don't care I'm not going to buy it anyhow; if I want multiplayer I'll play an MMO.

Also, Just Cause 2 was great. Had 120+ hours sunk into it and I was not even halfway done with it. I loved crashing jets into enemy installations and parachuting out at the last second; boy oh boy did I crash a lot of jets hehe.

@TheDarkNut

I played through once solo, now I only play with others. We're getting ready to start our Hardcore group.

Is this the long awaited Dead Space/Lost Planet crossover? Both franchises like to point out the shooty parts on enemies with orange glowy effects.

Call it Lost Dead Space Planet. Which almost makes sense as a thrown together name hehe.

Games don't scare me sh*tless, only real life has the chance to scare me like that. Sorry but the sense of feeling isolated and alone goes out the window when you add co-op. I'm sure co-op in DS3 could be fun, but having a companion in the game does not replace the tension and fear factor from isolation that is lost when you add co-op. Being lost in the woods alone is far scarier than being lost in the woods with a buddy.

Forgot to add:

Which comes first, the RMAH or the PvP? (That's a fairly rhetorical question btw, because we all know the answer hehe)

Co-op feels like it would make the game less scary and challenging. The sense of isolation and being alone was a big part of the mood and atmosphere of the first two games.

Does DS3 take place on Hoth? Because I'm sure I see snow falling in that picture and does Isaac have a FURRY COLLAR! heh
